Isn’t it amazing that everything God ever said would happen, did? Kings rose and nations fell. A sea of enemies wiped out with one hand behind His back. The earth quaked, locusts came, thousands were fed, those who were dead came alive again. Poor became rich, sinners became saints.
He is God and there’s none like Him. He is God and there is no other.
If we worry what tomorrow holds, hold fast the Father knows. If the past has been hard to understand, He can walk us through that.
We don’t look to crystal balls and tarot cards. Nor does our confidence wait for the six o’clock news or 60 Minutes. The people of God don’t put their trust in a nation’s security system or the national guard to protect them. The Lord fights for us.
“The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.” (Ex 14:14)
“Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.” (Ps 20:7)
“Now to the King, eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever.” (1 Tim 1:17)
