“The counsels of the hearts.” 1 Corinthians 4:5

In the hidden places of your heart, believer, who counsels you? Are you doubting The Spirit of Truth? Afraid of His mysteriousness? Unsure of whether you are hearing Him or yourself, so you settle for what makes sense?

We walk by faith, remember? We need no one to tell us about God, The Holy Spirit has been sent to help us.

Jesus has made out-of-this-world promises about The Spirit who is from God — that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power.

The Holy Spirit is not to be shied away from, dear one, but wholly embraced, trusted, followed. You are safe to come. “He will guide you into all truth.”

Reread 1 Corinthians 2 today. Hold it to your heart. Pray. The Holy Spirit has more for us than our heart has been willing to hear.
