Y’all know how King David was a type of Christ—a reflection, a description, a form or character, if you will, of the coming Savior? Well, could it be, Solomon, the son after him, could be a type of us?
Think about it. Haven’t we spent much of our time chasing after the wind? Are we not, through no merit of our own, heirs of His peace—the children of His wisdom? As King David destroyed the enemies of God (left none alive) Jesus destroyed all the powers of sin and death—by which our spirit inherits peace on every side.
Before Jesus walked to the cross He said, “Peace I leave you with, My peace I give to you.” Spiritual wisdom, understanding, riches and honor, peace no matter our circumstance, all the good we could ever imagine—is the inheritance Jesus signed over to the world, in blood, on the cross.
How are you enjoying the peace Jesus gives you?
