I once thought God turned a blind eye to the horrors of this world. Ignored from His pristine kingdom, our suffering. Shutter to think such a deceiving thing now that I know I am made in His own image.
For unlike the beasts of the earth, God has set before me a choice: life or death, blessing or cursing.
So where do wars and fights come from? My one stubborn heart unwilling to ask. And when my asking springs from greed, I shall receive nothing. For the Spirit of God in me, yearns for my heart jealously.
If we hunger for peace, thirst for righteousness, we must ask in faithfulness—trusting the one true God who loves us best. And wait for Him, beloved, wait for Him! Knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. Let patience work. And soon you’ll lack nothing.
“Therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.”
