“If anyone thirsts, let them come to Me and drink.” John 7:37

Is your soul dry? Come sit with the Holy Spirit. For He is able to quench any thirst. No matter the earthy loss, Jesus fills abundantly—more than we could ever think or askIn fact, that is His whole intent.

Israel crossed the desert doubting God’s provision and so never experienced the promised land.

Wander not thirsty soul.

Go boldly before the throne of grace that you may freely drink from the pure well of mercy and enjoy abundant grace—receiving strength in your time of urgency.

Even in desperate need, Israel refused to drink. They believed what was left behind was the only thing that could satisfy. Their stubborn soul unwilling to open for the wine and milk that pours from the Lord without money and without price. They thought to work and slave was the only way—though it never once stopped their cravings in the past.

The desert was no accident. Israel did not stumble into trouble where the Lord was not fully and richly wanting and willing to give them what they’d never before tasted—His own saving presence. An unadulterated love they had never before experienced.

“Incline your ear, and come to Me. Hear, and your soul shall live.”

It amazes me how a few words can change a life.
