“Nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net.” Luke 5:5 

Regardless of what appears obvious to our weary eyes, we do well to obey the abundant word of God.

What the Lord has planned today will astonish, bring us to the knees of our King, our eyes ever changed by what we see.

Obedience is not only the radical, the heroic move across the sea.

Many times it’s simply another try.

To do what we’ve done a thousand times—without anything to show for our efforts, “nevertheless, Master, at Your word.”

If the Lord commands you to launch out into the same waters you sailed yesterday, it is surely to take you deeper than you’ve ever gone.
